INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIP

In a country whose population comprises less than 1% evangelical Christians, The Union of Evangelical Students of Slovenia (ZVEŠ) is a small fellowship. So small that most students will complete their entire degree without meeting another Bible-believing Christian! Yet our God is providing: we praise him for our international team of young graduates who are committed to sharing the gospel with students throughout Slovenia. Even during the pandemic, students have made the most of opportunities to meet online, but please pray as the country reopens for more opportunities to meet face to face and see university students gripped with the good news of Christ.

For many decades, the majority Buddhist Myanmar was under military rule with many restrictions on working with university students. However, in recent years prior to this year’s political unrest, the country experienced significant changes leading to new opportunities for establishing groups on universities that seek to equip disciples of Jesus to make disciples and live out their faith on their universities and in society. Through the work of MFES we hope to see many more lives changed through the gospel, and the whole nation transformed through them. MFES officially started on 1 October 2016 and asks you to please pray as students persevere through COVID, political unrest, and various hardships disrupting studies and gospel proclamation.
