Bring your Bible, pen, clothes for all conditions during the conference and mission (i.e. warm, cold and wet), and money for books and other resources at the onsite store.
Please bring your own water bottle and keep-cup to NTE2022 – we want to reduce waste wherever we can. There will be multiple water stations for you to access throughout the day to fill your water bottle and stay hydrated.
Please review our Covid Safety Plan here today so you know what you need to do, and what we will be doing.
All bedding and a towel will be provided in Single, Premium, Standard and Dormitory accommodation.
If you are changing rooms between Pre-NTE conference and NTE, you will need to strip the linen from the bed.
You will need to bring everything you would normally take camping (i.e. tent, sleeping bag, air mattress, etc).
However, you will not need to bring any cooking equipment as all meals are provided.
The camping area will be divided into exclusive sections for men and women. If you wish to camp with friends or with your own campus please organise this yourself.
Day rego = providing your own accommodation and breakfast. Lunch and dinner is provided at EPIC.
Optional to bring snacks for strand groups (nut and seafood free) and extra money for Maccas, books from the bookstall and NTE2022 merch! Please talk to your campus staff about what you need to take if you are going on NTE mission after the conference.

All NTE conference sessions, conference program activities and most meals (depending on your accommodation) are at Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC) on the Cnr Flemington Rd & Federal Highway, Mitchell ACT 2911
Entrances are available on both roads – look for the NTE signs! Limited free parking is available on site.
At the EPIC site, there are three main buildings that you will need to access:
- Coorong – all of the main sessions will be held here
- Budawang – most meals (depending on your accommodation) will be held here (breakfast, lunch & dinner)
- Conference Centre – the NTE Office will be located on the ground floor of this building. It’s between Coorong and Budawang pavillions.
There are other venues on site you will need to be aware of regarding strand groups and electives. They will clearly be marked in your conference booklet.
If you have purchased Wednesday, Thursday or Friday night accommodation you will need to check in between 5pm and 6pm or 7:30pm – 9pm at EPIC the day you arrive. Remember to buy your own dinner!

Bus from Canberra airport: To get from the Canberra airport to EPIC you will have bus and light rail options.
Car with other students: This is organised on a campus level. The NTE office can not arrange car travel to and from Canberra. If you are still looking for people to carpool with, get in touch with your campus staff worker.
Google maps will help you sort out your travel plan!
On-site registration starts from 9:00am Saturday 3 December.
The final session finishes at 1:00pm Wednesday 7 December (some teams go straight from here to Mission). Please note that lunch on Wednesday 7 December is not included.
In the NTE2022 booklet you will receive a detailed timetable. You will participate in 6 bible talks, 7 strand group sessions, 2 electives and 1 seminar. This seems like a packed timetable but there are many opportunities for personal reflection time, free time and time with your campus group, along with mealtimes!

NTE Onsite registration is open from 9:00am to 10:00am on Saturday December 3, at EPIC.
You will be ushered towards the registration area where you will receive your nametag, NTE booklet and Strand Material.
If you will be arriving later than 10am please go to the NTE Office in the Conference Centre.
Accommodation will not be accessible until after lunch on your first day. Some accommodation sites will require you to drive to and from the conference site each day so please ensure that if you have a car, you are always traveling with others.
Your nametag will note the accommodation type that you’ve booked, your accommodation location and room number.
Further accommodation information will be available at https://nte.org.au/accommodation/ closer to the conference start date.
There is ample free parking at EPIC, as well as at each of the accommodation sites. A map showing the location of this parking can be found on the back cover of the NTE2022 booklet.
– Name tags must be worn at all times, or you will not be fed or have access to sessions!

Pre-NTE Conference:
All meals will be at EPIC.
Day Rego:
Only lunch and dinner will be provided at EPIC (in Budawang).
Camping (EPIC), Carotel, EagleHawk Park & IBIS Budget:
All meals will be provided at EPIC (in Budawang) .
IBIS Styles Eaglehawk & YWAM:
If you are staying at YWAM, breakfast there is included in your rego. You can also choose to have breakfast at EPIC. All other meals will be provided at EPIC (in Budawang).
Those in the Guest Program – staying at IBIS Styles Eaglehawk – will have breakfast at their accommodation. All other meals will be provided at EPIC (in Budawang).
Special Diets:
Meals at EPIC have avoided all nut and sesame seed products. Most meals cater to dairy free, gluten free and vegan requirements. Regarding all dietary needs, look for the appropriate signs in the food serving area. A daily menu will be displayed during the week.
Other info:
During meals at EPIC, please sit where directed as there will not be enough seats for everyone if we do not fill every seat systematically.

Please wear your name tag at all times during the conference. If you lose your name tag you can get a replacement name tag at the NTE Office.
You might notice some AFES people taking photos throughout NTE. These photos may be used for AFES promo material. If you would prefer your photo not be used, please tell us! Also, if you take any great photos of NTE or mission you’d like to share with us, you can email them to [email protected] and share on social media with #NTE2022. If you do take any photos and want to post them online, remember to ask the people in the photo if this is okay.
We have a great team of friendly volunteers who will help you. If you don’t know where you’re going, please ask one of the people in the gold NTE t-shirts for help.
When you enter the Coorong Pavilion for main sessions, please:
- Have your face mask with you ready for the singing times
- Sanitise your hands
- Follow the Welcomers’ instructions as they direct you to your seats.
It will make their jobs and the whole of NTE run smoothly!
Complimentary WiFi is available in Budawang and the conference centre. Look for CBRFree WiFi Network. Accommodation WiFi may be available depending on your accommodation site. Please check the WiFi availabilities at your accommodation site.
Commonwealth, NAB and Westpac ATMs are located at the Dickson shops (see accommodation map on p.87).
The NTE Book Shop, located in the Daintree Room, will be open during free time and after the main talks. Great Christian books, resources, DVDs and CDs are for sale at special NTE prices. So bring some extra money if you’d like to purchase yourself or someone else a book!
